GS8VL is the Club Call Sign of the GMDX Group, Scotland’s DX Association, It is worked be a number of members each year. During 2014 the special prefix GA8VL was used to celebrate “Home Coming ” Scotland
Iain Sinclair GM8VL the original holder of this callsign became a silent key in January 2014 a few months before his 100th Birthday. His daughter Hilli has kindly consented to his call being reassigned to the GMDX Group. We are proud to have this call in fond remembrance of Iain.
